Return Policy

We want you to love what you ordered. If something isn’t right, we offer a straightforward return and exchange process, compliant with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
1. Return window
You may initiate a return within 15 days of delivery. Size exchanges on rings and bracelets are accepted within 30 days of delivery.
2. Eligible items
To be eligible for a return, the item must be:
- Unworn and in original, resaleable condition.
- In its original packaging with all tags, pouch and care card intact.
- Free from signs of perfume, makeup, scratches or wear.
3. Items not eligible
- Earrings — for hygiene reasons, all earrings are final-sale unless they arrive damaged or defective.
- Personalised pieces (initials, custom engraving, made-to-order sizing).
- Items marked “Final Sale” on the product page.
- Free gifts & promotional items.
4. How to start a return
- Sign in to your account, go to Orders, select the item, and tap Return. Pick a reason and add a note. (Guest customers: write to hello@arqjewels.local with your order number.)
- Once approved (usually within 24 hours), we arrange a reverse pickup with our courier where serviceable. You’ll receive an email with pickup details.
- Pack the item securely with all original packaging and the return slip we email you.
- The courier collects the parcel from the same address it was delivered to.
- Once we receive and inspect the item, your refund is initiated within 2 business days. See the Refund Policy for timelines.
5. Return shipping
Where reverse pickup is available, we arrange it through our courier partner. If your pincode isn’t serviceable for reverse pickup, you may self-ship via India Post or any reputable courier; we will reimburse return shipping up to ₹70 against a stamped courier receipt.
6. Damaged or defective items
If your item arrives damaged, defective or not as described, please write to us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs and (where possible) an unboxing video. In such cases we cover all return shipping and offer a full replacement or refund at your choice.
7. Inspection & refusal
Returns are inspected within 2 business days of receipt. If an item shows signs of wear, is damaged in return transit due to inadequate packing, or is missing components (pouch, tags, certificates), we may decline the refund or offer a partial refund proportionate to the loss in resale value. We will always email you before processing a partial refund.
8. Exchanges
For sizing exchanges on rings and bracelets, the new size ships free as soon as the original is back with us and inspected. Style exchanges are processed as a return + new order; we will share a discount code matching any pricing difference.
9. Coupon-discounted returns
If you used a coupon at checkout and return only part of the order, the discount is recalculated proportionally. If the post-return order value falls below the coupon’s minimum cart-value, the discount is reversed in full. We never claim back more than what was actually given.
