ARQJewels is a small studio based out of India, designing fashion jewellery in gold-tone brass and sterling silver. Our pieces are considered, not loud — slim chains, hammered hoops, stacking rings — the kind of things you put on at 8am and forget you’re wearing until someone compliments them at dinner.

What we make

Most pieces are cast in solid brass and finished with one-micron gold or rhodium plating. We use AD, CZ, freshwater-style pearls and select semi-precious stones — nothing imitation that can’t hold up to wear. Where it matters (rings, earring posts), we use sterling silver and surgical-grade hypoallergenic components.

Quality, simply

• BIS hallmarking on all sterling silver pieces.
• 1-micron platingon gold-tone pieces — twice the industry minimum, so the finish lasts.
• Anti-tarnish coating on every plated piece.
• Hypoallergenic earring posts and ring shanks wherever skin contact is direct.

How we make it

Every silhouette is sketched, prototyped, and then cast at our partner workshops in Jaipur and Mumbai. We work with small ateliers who have done this for decades, and we pay them a fair rate. We test every batch before it leaves our studio and we’re happy to talk through provenance — just write to us.

Care

Avoid contact with water, perfume, sweat and harsh chemicals. Store in the pouch provided when not in wear. Wipe gently with a soft cloth. Treated this way, plated pieces hold their finish for years; sterling silver only gets better with time.
